SureFire Woodsman has just put out a DVD detailing the most fantastically well-thought-out bug-out vehicle I’ve ever seen, and I watched the whole first season of Doomsday Preppers, so I know what over-the-top looks like. This guy’s trailer has it all, from solar cells to wind power to first aid, camouflage, food gathering, building, repair, metalworking, welding, and the list goes on. I took some time to watch the 15-minute YouTube video of excerpts from the DVD, and the main thing I learned from it is that everyone else on the Internet is unprepared for the apocalypse when compared to this guy. - See more at: www.alloutdoor.com

Fantastic DVDs!!! Watched two of the four so far in my spare time. Thank you for the quick delivery... I was expecting to have to wait a while and you got them to me within the same workweek I ordered them. I am interested in general preparedness, recreational bushcraft and practical emergency survival... These fit the bill and I look forward to squeezing in time to watch the other two in the near future. Thank you again from an impressed NoCO Park Trails tech.Chris Skully

Wow what a set up!!!! its so simple yet so complex and has insane potential!! This is such a good idea even just to go and live of the land for a while!! That one little trailer can get someone pretty much completely off the grid!! Out of all the preppers I've seen (and there are many) your set up is most definitely my favorite!! It seems so comfortable!! MegaFreeSpeech

Hi Surefire,

Thanks for confirming this. Yes, I did watch the Bug out preview before arriving at my conclusion and a big part of that is because the information is presented in such a clear and articulate way that it rises above any background noise there may be. Having said that compared to some of the material out there you do a great job of pointing out a potential scenario without dwelling on blame and politics. Peter

Thanks Surefire for all your hard work and sharing with us like minded folks. Look forward to each new video. Thanks again. ThePatriotGunner

Thank you for your quick responses. Your a good businessman. We will do business again. Any word when goal zero will come out with the larger 60watt or so flexible panels? John S.

Hey John,
Your videos are really important to get out.  I think your prices are too low.  Personally, I think 49 to 65 dollars would be reasonable, besides, where else can you get this kind of information all laid out for you? The tree felling DVD was so simple and common sense oriented that it has given me some new ideas about what to do on my properties.

I've been watching your 3 trailers on solar panels, and batteries. I have decided to set up 2-4 four banks of batteries wired in parallel, with a charge controller and meter, an inverter, solar panels, and a small efficient generator with a regular battery charger. Many thanks, Tom

I know that many people need these videos, but many of them don't know it yet. I started watching Dave Canterbury a couple of years ago.  Your methods, in my opinion, are much more workable and practical than the methods he uses on Dual Survivor.  Most people would give up if they had to live day to day using his methods, while your methods are much more empowering, and productive.

Learn the ins and outs...

I recommend this DVD to anyone who is wanting to learn all about the subject matter of being an outdoorsman. If you are living off grid, prepping for SHTF or just wanting to learn the ins and outs this DVD is for you. I was lucky enough to preview the entire DVD and I learned more about trees and their uses, what type of trees to use when building structures, building fires, and anything else that you can think of. This is something that should be in everyone's BOB or home library. ThePatriotGunner

What to do when things go wrong

This is the best information I've ever seen on chainsaw use and felling trees. I have always been amazed at the skill and confidence a good sawman/arborists displays in felling trees. Well, Surefire Woodsman shows you the secrets and common sense methods to felling trees yourself, with a focus on safety, and what's required to get the job done, and just as importantly, what to do when things don't go as planned. I strongly recommend you get his DVD's and share them with family and friends. splungecreek

Dr Richard

I saw the ad for this on prepperlink a couple of weeks ago, clicked the link, watched the teaser video, and bought the DVD. I don't buy a lot of "survival" books or DVDs anymore because most of them don't provide anything new or unique and I could easily write my own book. That being said, this DVD was very useful and had way more than $18 worth of good ideas. I really like his approach and how he setup his trailer. Likewise, he has an excellent setup that is a good model for others to exploit. For me, this was less a call to buy a bunch of items (I have most of the same or comparable gear) but more of a system for organizing what I already have with a couple of exceptions like the Magna Grecia Italian digging hoe (bought one; got it today; really is useful as described). However, for others, this is a great guide for gear to get and how to use it.

Stoves

Hunter Stove

What a great stove! I brought my new stove on a week long camp in eastern WA in June but didn't plan to set it up since the weather is usually pleasant. The first day rained and the second day we got 2 inches of snow, and the constant wind changed my mind. The stove gave out great heat, and needless to say, we had everyone in the tent staying warm and happy (I think the horses would have been in there too if they knew I had it). It burns well and holds the heat, the dampers allow a great range of temperature, and we could usually find coals going the next morning. And it looks good, too. I didn't use the water tank until the last night, but figured out that having the water tank going gives enough humidity to keep the air from being really dried out. The only draw back is that with all the accessories stored in it, it is not only heavy but awkward to carry. I rigged up a handle to go between the leg sockets and the tie down loops which allowed me to carry it easier. An absolutely great stove that will accompany me on all my trips.
